Soap

We make soap using the Hot Process method. This involves gently heating the oils and butters and then adding the lye which causes a chemical reaction, resulting in soap. The advantage of the Hot Process, means that the soap is ready almost as soon as it has solidified although it does benefit from a period of curing.

Handmade soap is different from industrially made soap because all the glycerin has not been removed, which results in a skin-friendly, naturally moisturising soap. We can also add emollients like shea butter which gives an even more moisturising bar. All our products are made using the finest of ingredients.

We do not use palm oil, add SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulphate), parabens or synthetic fragrances. Our products are fragranced using high quality essential oils, and are coloured with natural, plant based colourants such as alkanet root. The oils and butters used in our products are carefully chosen for their beneficial properties.

All our products conform to a rigorous safety assessment, and comply with EU regulations.

We are against animal testing, and all products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

 Bath Salts

We make our bath salts using Himalayan salt. This salt has a lovely pale pink colour, and is believed to contain the 84 of the minerals the body requires. It has not been processed using harsh chemicals and contains no additives.

We also include Epsom salts which help to ease minor aches and muscle stiffness.

Body Veil

Our beautifully, softly scented body butters have been formulated to nourish and moisturise your skin. They are incredibly rich and a little goes a long way. Apply to your body, paying particular attention to the areas which need a little more help. They are excellent for use on the feet to get ready for wearing sandals in the summer.

The oils and butters have been carefully selected for their moisturising and nourishing properties. This is a whipped butter which softens on contact with the skin and absorbs beautifully, leaving your skin silky and feeling loved.

We use organic and fairly traded shea butter for its moisturising properties, avocodo oil and butter which are high in vitamins A, D and E and which are known for their hydrating and regenerating properties, and organic virgin coconut oil which has powerful anti-oxident properties.
